In 1988, Batman went head to head with KGBeast over a four-issue arc. I was 14 at the time and picked up the first issue from the grocery store one night. I have read comics my whole life but this particular storyline kept me riveted and it was the first time I felt compelled to buy every issue as soon as it was put out.

I found myself re-reading this storyline recently and must say, other than the 1980s politics, I still enjoyed it a lot.
